Chiddy Bang: “Google him in images”
What’s up world?! Amplified favorite, Chiddy Bang, is taking the world by storm and slowly blowin’ up! What started out as a hobby for two college freshman from Philadelphia, slowly turned into a dope profession. Chidera, aka “Chiddy,” was a business major at Drexel, where he met DJ Xaphoon Jones. The two went around performing at house/basement parties, then released their first mixtape, “The Swelly Express,” in 2009. From that point on, they upgraded their spotlight stage as they began touring Europe and opening up for big named artists. Here is their hit single, “Opposite of Adults,” an MGMT spinoff track. I got to see them live at school—well worth it. It’s funny that they blew up in the UK before making it big in the US.
Oh man, I bet! Hoping they make a trip out west so I can peep a show. But it is funny how it took the UK to turn them into something out of nothing. Hopefully America catches on and helps promote what they’re doing
