DJ ALSIUS spinnin’ @ U-31 in San Diego
If you’re in the San Diego Greater Heights location this Saturday, November 20th, come check our very own DJ ALSIUS spinnin’ on the 1′s and 2′s at U-31. He’s the opening set to Stircrazy and The Office Twins. He goes on at 9pm, so come out and show him some love!
Team Tengu Dominates Once Again
Amplified’s very own Team Tengu tearin’ up the tracks once again! Tengu member’s, Rob and Eric, placed 2nd and 3rd at the last R/C drift comp last weekend in Nor Cal. Both pictured in the second picture above together with their Amplified cars (Special thanks to Eric for creating). Their next big comp will be in the beginning of September. Amplified crew out at Petco Park for SD Padres game
Some of the homies of Amplified went out to college night at the Padres baseball game against the Baltimore Orioles, 6.18.2010. It was an all-around great event, full of college kids, beer, and a game that was won in the bottom of the 9th inning! Good times…
Team Tengu’s Nickolas Jordan @ Driftcon
Amplified’s very own Nickolas Jordan of Team Tengu, placed first at Driftcon not long ago. Here’s a pic of him placing first in the middle wearing his Amplified Diego tee. Look out for him and his team doing work this summer in their upcoming events such as Summer Points Series, Classic Drift Comp, and several demos inbetween in Northern California. No Sass opening for T-Pain and The Clipse at USC’s Springfest ’10!
We have ordered the Amplified “No Sass” t-shirts which should be in sometime within the next week. This is just in time for No Sass’ performance at USC’s Springfest 2010 concert. It will be held at USC’s McCarthy Quad at noon on April 10th. No Sass will be opening up for big names like The Clipse and T-Pain! Amplified will be out there selling No Sass tee’s and other gear while supporting their favorite band! Come check it out next Saturday!! GET AMP’d!

Team Tengu performing at Driftcon!
Amplified’s Team Tengu has been practicing hard for their March 27th event, Driftcon. This event is taking place in San Jose, at Fast Pace Racing. It will host the top drifters from all over Nor-Cal, as well as other competitors throughout the state. Come check it out!

Haiti Clothing Drive
This week we’ll be organizing a clothing drive to send to the victims of the Haiti earthquake. If you live in the San Diego area and would like to donate some clothes, send an email to me (nate@amplifiedboarding.com) or Anthony (anthony@amplifiedboarding.com)

MMA Event in San Jose, CA! Check it out!
Amplified Boarding recently helped design fliers for fellow homie Jason Whitcomb, a member of the San Jose State University Boxing Team. The event he is putting on is called THE BATTLE IN THE BRAWLROOM. The event is going to be hosted at the San Jose Athletic Club on 196 N. 3rd St. It is on January 22nd at 7pm. There will be much entertainment which can be seen on the flier. Following the event is an after party @ Toons in Downtown San Jose. So come join the Amplified Boarding crew as we check out some of the baddest MMA fights to ever come to San Jose! Hope to see you there!

R/C drift season is back, and Team Tengu is looking to do some damage this new year. They are bringing drifting back to Nor Cal, as they are expanding into Mini-Z racing, along with off-road R/C racing. All Day In this ‘best trick’ night jam session there are many winners, as riders are given a $20 bill (a Jackson) for every trick that impresses the judging panel of pro skiers and riders. The contest is open to skiers and snowboarder and is held on Searchlight (lower Exhibition)

Team Amplified’s new band, No SASS!, is performing tonight at Queen Bee’s in downtown San Diego (3925 Ohio St.). Amplified will have a booth set up all evening prior to the band’s performance at 8:30pm. Team Amplified’s Surgical Strike Paintball Team takes #1 spot in West Coast Championship for 2009!
Team Amplified’s Surgical Strike paintball team placed 3rd in this past weekend’s RPL Finale at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA. They placed 1st overall in the RPL on the West Coast in their AA division and were awarded their trophy today, Sunday, November 22nd. Pics of this weekend’s event are shown below. Congrats Team!
