Amplified Boarding Photo Shoot Fall 2011
In April of 2009, we started out as a doodle on a piece of paper and nothing more than just a dream, became a reality on October 30th, 2011. All the hard work has paid off to put together a bunch of photos for you that we have collected from our first ever photo shoot! We shot the pics at Mission Beach in San Diego, CA on a Sunday morning at 8am. We want to thank all the people that came out to help us in making this shoot a success. This is just a sneak peek to our FWL10 (Fall/Winter Line 2010). We have an assortment of beanies that are complete and going to be made available for purchase real soon! We have a few more things that we want to accomplish before releasing this line. This will hands down be the biggest thing that we’ve done since we’ve been in the game. Amplified welcomes Fabian Fernandez to the Team!
On behalf of Amplified Boarding Co., we are proud to announce we have a new member on board. 24 year old, Fabian Fernandez, of San Jose is now reppin’ for the Amplified team in his ’95 Nissan 240sx. He is a professional drifter competing in the ThunderDrift and TopDrift Pro-Am Series’. He is currently sitting in 8th place in the ThunderDrift series after only one year of competing. He will be competing in a grip of events within this next month, list of events TBA soon! Stay tuned and Get AMP’d! Welcome broski!
Team Tengu Dominates Once Again
Amplified’s very own Team Tengu tearin’ up the tracks once again! Tengu member’s, Rob and Eric, placed 2nd and 3rd at the last R/C drift comp last weekend in Nor Cal. Both pictured in the second picture above together with their Amplified cars (Special thanks to Eric for creating). Their next big comp will be in the beginning of September. Chiddy Bang: “Google him in images”
What’s up world?! Amplified favorite, Chiddy Bang, is taking the world by storm and slowly blowin’ up! What started out as a hobby for two college freshman from Philadelphia, slowly turned into a dope profession. Chidera, aka “Chiddy,” was a business major at Drexel, where he met DJ Xaphoon Jones. The two went around performing at house/basement parties, then released their first mixtape, “The Swelly Express,” in 2009. From that point on, they upgraded their spotlight stage as they began touring Europe and opening up for big named artists. Here is their hit single, “Opposite of Adults,” an MGMT spinoff track. Enjoy!

Thanks to Ruben Bernal and Nickolas Jordan for making this first Amplified skateboarding photo shoot a success! They were out grindin’ all day doin’ kick flips and all. Team Tengu Reppin’ Amplified
Amplified’s very own Team Tengu has been rippin’ up the R/C drift tracks! They recently just placed 2nd-4th in Nor Cal last Sunday, the 25th. Team member, Eric, recently created Team Amplified drift cars for the crew to represent. We are so thankful for this team, as they are always reppin’ hard! Check out their car pics below!

Amplified crew out at Petco Park for SD Padres game
Some of the homies of Amplified went out to college night at the Padres baseball game against the Baltimore Orioles, 6.18.2010. It was an all-around great event, full of college kids, beer, and a game that was won in the bottom of the 9th inning! Good times…
Team Tengu’s Nickolas Jordan places 1st @ Driftcon!
Nickolas Jordan, member of Team Tengu R/C drift team, placed first out of thirty-five of the best drifters from Northern California! On behalf of the Amplified Team, we want to congratulate him on his hard work and dedication, as it has paid off without a doubt. Here are a few pictures from Saturday’s event in San Jose, CA.

Amplified’s Team Tengu is back in action!
R/C drift season is back, and Team Tengu is looking to do some damage this new year. They are bringing drifting back to Nor Cal, as they are expanding into Mini-Z racing, along with off-road R/C racing.
